 What did Congressman Burton do for Tipton County?                                       

1)    Chrysler LLC Violation
Rep Dan Burton urged the government to withhold loans to Chrysler until the company meets its end of the deal.  Chrysler LLC is being investigated for possible securities violations involving millions of dollars in bonds Tipton County spent toward a transmission plant that a Chrysler supplier stopped building last year (jconline).

2)    Snow Storm Recovery
As he has done several times in the past few years when tragedy has struck our State, Congressman Burton, as Dean of the House delegation, is bringing together Indiana’s Senators and bipartisan House delegation to send a letter to President Bush asking him to approve and expedite Governor Daniel’s request for federal assistance to help disaster stricken Hoosier communities affected by the recent snow storm recover.
